One of the things you need to do before beginning your classes is make sure that you have all of the supplies necessary for your training. There are several things that LPN students need. Some of the most important items that you will need are mentioned and described below.
Books and Other Basic Supplies
The first things that you will want to be sure you have for your LPN program include your required textbooks and various other basic supplies. The textbooks you will need will vary depending on the classes you take and the school you choose. However, you can easily find out what textbooks you will need by visiting your school's website.
After navigating to your school's website, navigate to the LPN program. There, you can check the classes you will need to take and the textbooks required for each class. Basic supplies necessary for LPN programs may vary as well, but typically include the following items:
- A Computer and Internet Access
- Notebooks, Binders, and Note Cards
- Pens, Pencils, and Highlighters
- A Dictionary, Medical Dictionary, and Thesaurus
- A Backpack and a Water Bottle
- A Student Planner
LPN Student Attire
During your LPN clinicals, you will be required to wear special clothing as specified by your school.
